The rooms are beautiful, comfy and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped for anything you can think of. The staff are friendly and inviting and go above and beyond for a positive warm atmosphere. Everything is clean and well maintained. I will definitely be back!
The Country Corner Inn is a quaint place located in a beautiful country setting but oh so close to town. The manager, Joseph, is warm, congenial and welcoming and is quick to address any needs. My room is beautifully appointed with a lovely and comfy four poster bed. There's no lack of closet space thanks to a huge wardrobe plus two large dressers for storing clothing and personal items. The plentiful bathrooms have been updated with beautiful tile and modern raised bowl sinks. There's even a fabulous handicap shower equipped with a pull down seat and hand held shower head. Their housekeeper does a wonderful job of keeping the property sparkling clean and smelling fresh. I'm absolutely in love with the kitchen and the many appliances available for us to use. There's a large 6 burner gas stove like you'd find in a restaurant kitchen and plenty of pots and pans. Outside you'll find two large gas grills and a couple of charcoal ones out by the picnic tables. Group cookouts are quite popular here! Enjoy your morning coffee sitting in a rocking chair on the large screened in porch which runs the length of one side of the Inn. Onsite Coin-op washers and dryers are available for lodger use. The grounds are nicely kept and there's a lovely koi pond across the road which one may visit. If you're looking for a chill weekend getaway or long term stay this place is for you! I just recently left this wonderful place. It was my second time staying here within the past year and half. Both times were about 3 to 4 months stays and can say it's very clean, Quiet and safe. Everyone I met was friendly and the staff/management were awesome and professional. I only had one thing I didn't like and that was the 10 minutes or more I waited in the 2nd floor restrooms flushing the toilets 3,4,5 times to get it all down to the stink tank. But it was the least of my worries. Toni and Joseph, thank you very much for everything.. I'll definitely be back if I need to. Thank you
Been here 90 days, no complaints. Clean,up to date, comfortable. Mgmt is nice and responsible. Lots of parking. Rates are reasonable. Id recommend
I moved into Country Corner Inn back in Jun 2019, needing a place to park until I could regroup and find my own space in Maine. My parents moved into Country Corner Inn in October 2019. We will be moving into our own place tomorrow. Country Corner Inn has clean rooms, fair prices and an array of personality. You can do laundry on site. No smoking in facility. Pets of all kinds are allowed. My parents have 2 little dogs and I have a cat and bird. Rooms are nice size, bathrooms are modern, clean and nice size. The owners, Jo and Roland are amazing! We have made life time friends and it is with bitter sweet feelings we now move to Augusta, ME.... Madison and Country Corner Inn will always be in our hearts
I was looking for a place to stay for a night between working in Bangor and hiking in Carrabassett Valley. This place popped up in my search and the price was right - all I was looking for was a bed and a kitchen but I ended up having some great conversations with some interesting people. It’s kind of like a hostel but I get the impression that most of the guests are “long term”. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, the dining area was clean and spacious, and the bedroom was clean and comfortable. Did I mention clean? The bathrooms were clean too. I will definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area looking for accommodations.
I am a traveler and I stayed here. The manager is a gem. Shout out to Joseph. I stayed here for 6 months. No drugs are allowed and they will put you out. My room was safe and secure. Cameras throughout the facility. Bring shower shoes because you do share bathrooms. I would recommend!!!
Been staying here almost 8 months and it is quite comfortable, I have a puppy and he has a blast. Toni, best manager ever, works super hard. Place is always clean, never not any toilet paper, soap, or paper towels missing from the bathroom. Overall good place to stay.
